Education

RES is fully committed to undertaking the social corporate responsibility of communities including the schools, and provides first rate education at a private English medium school - Thembelisha Preparatory that has a 21% enrolment of pupils who are not employees’ children. The corporation is also a responsible member/ stakeholder of Mananga College, a private high school established to improve the availability of high quality education in the Lubombo region.  There are a further seven Swaziland Government owned schools on the sugar estates to which substantial support is provided.

For the development of an entrepreneurial culture, RES supports two government-owned schools every year to participate in the Junior Achiever (JA).Through the sponsorship, RES strongly believes that entrepreneurial development is fundamental for economic growth because pupils are provided with essential knowledge on starting and running a small business and are also imparted with Life Skills.
